Nearly 1 in 6 Americans in poverty, Census says

WASHINGTON (AP) — The ranks of the nation's poor have swelled to a record 46.2 million — nearly 1 in 6 Americans — as the prolonged pain of the recession leaves millions still struggling and out of work. And the number without health insurance has reached 49.9 million, the most in over two decades.

The figures are in a Census Bureau report, released Tuesday, that offers a somber snapshot of the economic well-being of U.S. households for last year when joblessness hovered above 9 percent for a second year. The rate is still 9.1 percent at the start of an election year that's sure to focus on the economy

Experts: 366 million people now have diabetes

LONDON (AP) — An estimated 366 million people worldwide now suffer from diabetes and the global epidemic is getting worse, health officials said Tuesday.

The International Diabetes Federation described the number of cases as "staggering," with one person dying from diabetes every seven seconds.

The federation called for concrete measures to stop the epidemic, urging officials focusing on chronic diseases at a United Nations meeting next week to commit to specific targets to prevent cases and to invest in more research. Experts also said diabetes care should be integrated into local health clinics.

Self Forgiveness is the Only Answer

Hello Everyone,

For over 40 years I have been on a journey of self investigation and internal work at a very diligent effort. It started with reading Carlos Castenada and Lopsang Rampa when I was a teenager. I tried to astral travel for hours in my bedroom at night. I was going to find Don Juan when I got older.

In my early 20′s I did the est training where I learned a lot about self responsibility and that you are not your thoughts and feelings. I did every seminar there was to do, including communication workshops and the 6 day workshop where we jumped off mountains down ziplines. I worked at est for 4 years, 18 hours a day, 7 days a week , no vacation, no day off. It was a grueling time like boot camp being ordered to produce results every moment.

I left there and did was involved with an community doing silent retreats watching the breath with a teacher that was very good and very intense travelling to Thailand and living in a monestary. I did forgiveness to everyone in my family and all my ancestors everyday for 20 years.

I have done every imaginable therapy, from Gestalt to yoga to Jungian psychology. I’ve had my chart read numerous times, had my palms read by a master palm reader, had my astrocartography done, feng shuied my house, did the I Ching, had numerous psychic readings, visited sacred spots all over the globe, listened to channelled entities, did sweat lodges with native chiefs, ayahuasca journeys with shamans from peru, collected crystals from mines all over the world, visited the Dalai Lama, did every body work out there, walked on fire, sat across from someone and told the truth for 14 hours, sat in a capsule with the 72 dialectic names of god chanted at me for hours, swam with dolphins, did the dolphin mind therapy with special wave frequencies, went to Rennes le Chateau to look for gold, went through 3 total solar eclipses, ate mushrooms in a primeval forest, went to area 51 looking for ufos, read every book available on the real history of Earth, went to every symposium on the future of mankind, global sciences , had my etheric body checked over by Archangel Michael, was told I was from a space ship here to rescue earth by the Galactic Command, etc etc etc etc etc (getting bored yet?)

And my point is, ready ready ….IT WAS ALL JUST THE MIND…..Now some things did make a difference over all but hardly to make a dent into changing my reality or my life to any extent.

The only quantifiable difference that I have experienced in my life is doing the Desteni work. The only answer I have found is doing SELF FORGIVENESS. This is the answer folks. I have done the Structural Resonance Program for almost 2 years and the level of difference in my life is beyond comparison. I speak from experience.

So all you folks out there who think they have the answer or if you have crossed my path in any of the venues that I mention above, this is the message I have for you: GET REAL WITH YOURSELF NOW.

No one is coming to save you, no ascended master is waiting for you, 2012 isn’t going to put you into the next dimension. You caused the mess we are in and you have to clean it up. So start telling the truth about yourself, live what you preach and get off of making money from shooting shit out your ass. If you think you are making a difference then why did 42,000 people starve to death today while you had your chakras balanced?

There is a new movie coming out called Thrive on 11/11/11. Yes it has all the trappings of the New Age, Spritual movement but there are a few valid points about money, the elite and the shape of the world that we have created. It will be going world wide on the web. At the end they ask people to comment and get involved and dialogue about what are the solutions. I think that if the Destonians get involved when the movie premiers and comment on what the actual solutions of equal money, self forgiveness, self honesty, and self correction that we can make a splash on the scene. There will be people that will hear the Desteni message and check it out.
